Scrapbook, probably originally compiled by Robert C. Ebbets, and later annotated and possibly expanded by his sister, Charlotte P. Ebbetts. Many items relate to their father, Arthur M. Ebbets, San Francisco pioneer and coal merchant, and the family home on Jones St. at Washington, as well as notable people and events in San Francisco history. Contains newspaper clippings, printed ephemera, and a small quantity of manuscript materials, including a clipped signature of Emperor Norton I.
